Well following on from my first podcast and the positive feedback received I have now completed the second episode. In this I wanted to explore the subject of contingent vs retained recruitment and the implications to hiring companies as they consider how to engage with a recruiter.
On the surface, contingency recruitment might appear to be the most cost effective way of engaging with a recruiter. However, the question here has to be: by going down that route how much commitment is your recruiter likely to give you? Also, will this methodology deliver the business’ critical hire and even more significantly, is it really going to have a significant impact on your business’s bottom line?
